A major Aerospace and Defense contractor needed to simplify the repair process for all parts on their aircraft programs, provide real-time global visibility to the repair tasks, and automated financial payment within 72 hours when the repair is successfully completed. The solution needed to integrate into their existing proprietary systems, connect their suppliers and provide new functionality.

Solution

ASPGS personalized their existing products to create a web-based solution to meet the requirements. The original repair source data is validated, and alerts each participant in the aircraft repair cycle as it is their turn to execute a task. Once each party completes their information, the repair supplier is paid within 72 hours for the work performed.

Benefits

Major operational and repair process improvements have been realized. Improved supplier performance through metric reporting feedback, 75% reduction in adminstrative transaction cost, reduced manual payables activity and and supplier satisfaction has increased. The solution had a profound operational impact, and has been rolled-out to additional programs.
